Katie Dempsey, a dynamic professional, proudly graduated from Johnson & Wales University (Providence, RI) in 2017. In her new role as executive assistant (starting 2025), Katie, daughter of Rosemarie and sister to Shawn Dempsey, brings strong family values and teamwork. 

Katie’s background is firmly rooted in food services and hospitality management. Her impressive career includes serving as a Sous Chef for Finley Catering, managing the café at Scott Honda, and working as an assistant to the executive of food management and events at both Rosemont College and West Chester University. Her diverse experience in these high-impact roles has honed her organizational, leadership, and customer service skills—making her an invaluable addition to the GVA Wealth Management and Dempsey team. 

Outside of work, Katie is passionate about soccer, enjoys watching professional sports, and is an avid fan of country music. She also loves to travel and spend creative time crafting with her Cricut.
